Covers proper tasting technique, how to read the leaves, the water, and the steep.

Refine the senses through:
• Precision in brewing – Adjusting leaf-to-water ratio, temperature, and timing with intention.
• SSCG curation standards – Taste, mouthfeel, aftertaste, depth, clarity, throat resonance, retronasal aroma.
• Distinguishing quality – What gives a tea its presence, what sets one apart, how to recognize well-made tea.

How It Works

• Two or three teas per session – Explored deeply, from dry leaves to the final steep.
• Hands-on brewing – Brew and taste with guidance, refining technique and awareness.
• Focused discussion – Observe, analyze, refine.
