Sourced from an unfertilized, carefully managed old bush in high-elevation garden in Tongmuguan, known as the birthplace of black tea.

This Zhengshan Xiaozhong (also known as Lapsang Souchong) 2021, originating from the same source material as our Hongcha Tongmuguan Xiaozhong (Unsmoked) Da Chigan 2021, is distinguished by its classic smoked profile, traditionally smoked with pinewood.

Both teas have the characteristic longan notes, a distinctive marker of teas from Tongmuguan.

Zhengshan Xiaozhong presents a richly smoked experience with an elegant personality; it serves as a fascinating contrast to Da Chigan's unsmoked clarity.

Through this pairing, we aim to showcase the remarkable versatility of the tea leaves and the varying processing methods to become two uniquely expressive teas.
