The Yongchun region, to the south of the Min River (Minnan) and situated between Dehua and Anxi, boasts a rich tea production history. Known for its charcoal-roasted Shuixian and Foshou, Yongchun has long been a favorite among Southern Fujian tea drinkers and the Chinese diaspora in Nanyang.

This Foshou originates from an old, well-preserved garden nestled within a protected watershed in Yongchun. The Foshou bushes are among the oldest in the region, offering a deep connection to the area's tea cultivation heritage.

This difference in terroir allows the inherent flavors and characteristics of the Foshou to shine more distinctly. In contrast, Wuyi teas are often celebrated for their mineral-rich notes, a direct influence of their unique rocky environment. The less mineral-intensive soil of Yongchun provides a clearer expression of the Foshou's natural profile, offering a different yet equally enriching experience.

A Foshou in a half-rolled style is traditional and typical of Minnan oolongs. An embodiment of both the historical legacy and contemporary craftsmanship of the area.

Suggestion: 5g / 60-80 ml, 95-100°C.
How: Allow the tea to express its full array of flavors through multiple steeps.
